The premise is simple. When Jesus said, "love your neighbor as yourself," He built in a strategy for believers to reach their community, and even city, starting right next door.

Relationships are messy, so we will have to practice forgiveness if we are going to remain in relationship. As we experience the forgiveness of God in Christ, we are increasingly enabled to let go of any resentment we may feel towards our neighbor.

Jesus said that Loving God & Loving our Neighbor summarizes the whole law of God. But loving our neighbors—even knowing them—isn’t always easy or convenient. Jesus told the story of the Good Samaritan to show us that true neighborliness involves compassion, but that can only take place when we are first present.
